Welcome to Shiloh

United Methodist Church

Shiloh United Methodist Church is Resuming our In-Person Services!

With the guidance of the NGUMC Conference, our beautiful church is once again ready for Sunday morning services.  Please keep in mind that anyone who has a compromised immune system should remain at home and continue to watch our service online.  Also, please stay home if you are running a fever or if you are not feeling well.

Shiloh UMC will once again be having in-person services this Sunday, February 21st, 2021, at 10:30 a.m. inside the Sanctuary!  We will still be going live on Facebook, also, if you are unable to join us in person.

In order to attend, you must still follow all social distancing guidelines for the In-Person Service.  The guidelines include such things as the following:

  • how to enter and exit the church,

  • masks are always required (Newton County does have a mask ordinance),

  • no hymnals, Bibles, or bulletins will be available

  • no Sunday school classes or munchies

  • congregational singing with masks on is allowed,

  • hand sanitizing stations,

  • which restrooms to use,

  • no nursery during the service

  • and the hardest thing, please refrain from any form of physical contact!

As Preacher Mike has said, "We will be doing church like we never have before, but God will be in our midst as He always is!"

Shiloh UMC Supports our Healthcare Workers at Piedmont Newton!

In January, Shiloh UMC was able to donate three tubs of snacks and fruit to our Healthcare Workers at Piedmont Newton Hospital!  In addition to the snacks, Donna Parkes made Pocket Prayer Quilts with a cross inside of each one, and Denise Wadley added Pocket Prayer Cards.  These Pocket Quilts can be carried in the pockets of their scrubs or lab coats to remind them each day of God's grace and love.

Please continue to pray and support all of our healthcare workers who risk their lives everyday to take care of others!

Please find our Prayer List

for this week below - remember these wonderful people when you are speaking with God.
